The History of Vale House

Built around 1830 for Liverpool businessman Charles Holland, Vale House has stood proudly within Vale Park for almost two centuries. Originally a private residence, the building later became a community venue, but stories of unexplained activity have followed it throughout its history.

Over the years there have been reports of mysterious footsteps, unexplained voices, cold spots and shadowy figures both inside the house and within the surrounding park. Visitors have even described seeing figures in Victorian clothing disappearing into the building.

Whether these experiences have a paranormal explanation is something you’ll have the opportunity to decide for yourself.
