Accessibility at DeadLive Venues

Every DeadLive venue is different. Historic buildings often include stairs, narrow passages and areas without lift access. Please use this guide before booking and contact us if you need to discuss access for a particular event.

Access arrangements can change. Please contact us before booking if you use a wheelchair, have limited mobility or need an essential companion. Companion places are not automatically complimentary, so please speak to us before booking.

The Coffee House Wavertree

Our events take place on the top floor. Access involves several flights of stairs and a narrow final staircase. There is no lift, and the toilets are downstairs from the investigation area. This venue is not suitable for wheelchair access.

Guests can be dropped off at the front. Street parking is available around the back and there may also be spaces at the front. Seating and rest areas are available within the event space.

Several investigation areas are on the ground floor. The cellar requires about three or four steps and the upstairs rooms are reached by a standard staircase.

We are confirming whether lift access can be used during events. Please contact us before booking if you need step free access.

The main areas have ramps, accessible parking and toilets. A lift provides access to the upstairs rooms.

Some smaller investigation areas are less accessible. The stage has about four steps, the boiler room has about six steps and access beneath the stage is low and restricted. Guests who cannot use these areas can still take part in the accessible parts of the investigation.
