Introductory price: £25 per person

Join DeadLive Ltd for an exclusive Earlston House ghost hunt inside one of Wallasey’s most fascinating historic buildings.

This will be DeadLive’s first public paranormal investigation at Earlston House, giving just 20 guests the opportunity to explore the building after dark. With six hours inside the venue and access to a selection of approved rooms, this promises to be a very different ghost-hunting experience on the Wirral.

The History of Earlston House

Earlston House is a sandstone residence dating from around 1840. The building later became part of Wallasey’s public library service, which opened there in 1899. The neighbouring Carnegie library extension was constructed between 1910 and 1911.

The combined Wallasey Central Library and former Earlston House building is now Grade II listed for its architectural and historic importance.

Its long history as a private residence, public library and community building has seen generations of residents, staff and visitors pass through its rooms. What remains inside when the doors close and the building falls silent?

Your Earlston House Ghost Hunt

The evening will begin with registration and a safety briefing before guests are divided into small, supervised investigation groups.

Throughout the night, you will explore approved areas of Earlston House and take part in different paranormal experiments. These may include:

  • EVP and audio-recording sessions
  • Spirit-box communication
  • EMF and environmental monitoring
  • Traditional vigils
  • Dowsing experiments
  • Quiet periods of observation
  • Small-group communication sessions

DeadLive will provide paranormal equipment for guests to use, although you are welcome to bring your own handheld cameras, voice recorders or investigation equipment.

Guests will remain with an experienced DeadLive team member throughout the investigation. The event is not free-roaming, and access to all rooms will be carefully supervised. The planned event has a maximum of 20 guests, five supervising team members and operates between 8.00pm and 2.00am.

A Small-Group Paranormal Investigation

With only 20 tickets available, this will be a genuinely small-group experience. Lower guest numbers allow more time for quiet investigation, controlled experiments and closer attention to anything unusual that may happen.

No previous ghost-hunting experience is needed. The DeadLive team will explain the equipment and guide you through each investigation.

We never guarantee paranormal activity or tell guests what they must believe. Our events allow you to experience the building, examine anything captured and reach your own conclusions.
