About Mayer Hall
Mayer Hall stands within the historic Mayer Building Complex in Lower Bebington. Joseph Mayer, a noted antiquarian and local benefactor, developed the neighbouring free library and public park for the community. The present purpose-built hall dates from the late 1870s and was created for lectures, concerts, exhibitions and the display of Mayer’s collections.
The building has remained part of Bebington’s civic and community life for generations. That long public history, together with its period architecture and varied spaces, gives a DeadLive investigation a strong sense of place.

What happens on a Mayer Hall ghost hunt?

No previous experience is needed. Guests should wear warm, comfortable clothing and sensible footwear. Alcohol is not permitted, and anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted.
