DeadLive returns to Mayer Hall in Bebington on Saturday 3 October 2026 for an evening of paranormal investigation. The ghost hunt runs from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am, with tickets priced at £29 per person.
Once the normal daytime activity has ended and the hall becomes quiet, familiar rooms can feel very different. It is an ideal setting for a focused investigation led by the experienced DeadLive team.
Investigating Mayer Hall after dark
Throughout the night, guests will explore the venue in manageable groups. Smaller groups give everyone a genuine opportunity to take part, use the equipment and listen carefully without the noise and distraction of an overcrowded room.
The investigation may include controlled vigils, audio experiments, quiet observation and sessions using paranormal investigation equipment. The team will explain each activity and help guests consider both unusual experiences and possible ordinary explanations.
A genuine investigation
There are no actors, costumes or staged scares at a DeadLive ghost hunt. We do not promise that anything paranormal will happen. Instead, we create a calm and respectful environment in which guests can investigate, question and decide for themselves.
That approach often makes the quieter moments the most interesting. A sound, movement or sudden change in atmosphere becomes something the whole group can discuss and examine rather than simply accept.
Suitable for beginners and experienced guests
You do not need any previous experience or your own equipment. First-time investigators are welcome, and every part of the evening will be explained before it begins.
Experienced guests are equally welcome to bring a thoughtful, evidence-led approach. Believers, sceptics and the simply curious can all contribute something useful to an investigation.
Please wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear. Bring an extra layer, as venues can feel cooler during the early hours and some sessions may involve sitting quietly.
