DeadLive returns to the Royal Mersey Yacht Club on Saturday 12 September 2026 for a small-group paranormal investigation in one of the most distinctive settings on the Wirral waterfront.
The investigation runs from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am, with tickets priced at £25 per person. The evening is suitable for both first-time guests and experienced investigators.
A very different night beside the Mersey
When the doors close and the building becomes quiet, the atmosphere changes completely. The club’s maritime character, darkened rooms and position beside the river create a setting unlike a conventional hall or historic house.
Guests will investigate in small groups with guidance from the DeadLive team. You will have opportunities to take part in vigils, controlled experiments and quieter periods of observation using a selection of paranormal investigation equipment.
No actors and no staged scares
DeadLive events are genuine investigations. There are no actors, costumes or manufactured jump scares. We create the conditions for a careful, respectful investigation and allow the building and the night to speak for themselves.
You do not need to believe in ghosts to attend. Sceptics, believers and people who are simply curious are all welcome. What matters is being willing to take part, listen carefully and approach the venue with an open mind.
Small groups make a difference
Places are deliberately limited so that guests are not crowded into rooms or left watching from the back. Smaller numbers give everyone more time with the equipment and make it easier to hear, question and compare anything unusual that happens.
Wear warm, comfortable clothing and sensible footwear. Paranormal investigations include periods of standing and sitting quietly, and riverside buildings can feel cooler during the early hours.
