On Saturday 19 September 2026, DeadLive will investigate the Old Police Station at Lark Lane, Liverpool. Once the evening begins and the building settles into silence, its corridors and rooms provide an unusually intimate setting for a paranormal investigation.
The ghost hunt runs from 9:00 pm until 2:00 am and tickets are £15 per person.
A Liverpool location with real atmosphere
The Old Police Station is very different from a large castle or stately home. Its enclosed rooms and long institutional spaces bring guests close to every sound, movement and change in atmosphere.
During the night, the DeadLive team will divide guests into manageable groups. This gives everyone an opportunity to investigate rather than simply watching other people take part.
What happens during the investigation?
The evening may include vigils, audio experiments, observation periods and the use of paranormal investigation equipment. Some sessions will be guided, while quieter periods allow the group to listen and observe without unnecessary noise.
No result is promised and nothing is staged. Paranormal investigation is about asking questions, testing ideas and deciding for yourself whether an experience has an ordinary explanation.
Beginners and sceptics are welcome
You do not need previous experience or your own equipment. The team will explain how each part of the investigation works and help first-time guests become involved.
Believers and sceptics often notice different details, which can make group discussions more valuable. A careful challenge or alternative explanation is always welcome when it helps us understand what happened.
A small-group DeadLive event
DeadLive keeps numbers controlled so that the building does not become overcrowded. This is especially important in smaller rooms where too many people can make it difficult to hear or investigate properly.
Please wear comfortable clothing and sensible footwear. Bring an extra layer, as historic buildings can become cool late at night.
