Investigate the historic Vernon Institute in Saughall with DeadLive. Two confirmed small-group ghost hunts are available for 2027, both running from 9:00pm until 1:00am with arrival from 8:30pm.
A historic Cheshire venue near Chester
The Vernon Institute has been at the heart of Saughall since 1910. The building was used as a hospital during the First World War and later became an important community venue for the village. Its main hall, smaller rooms and long history create a distinctive setting for an investigation after dark.
The venue has welcomed paranormal investigation groups and has also featured in paranormal media. DeadLive has investigated the building before and is returning with two confirmed public dates in 2027.
Vernon Institute ghost hunts with DeadLive
DeadLive events are controlled, team-led investigations for people who want to explore the venue properly. We work with small groups, use a mixture of modern equipment and traditional experiments, and allow time for quiet observation in different parts of the building.
- Small investigation groups
- Experienced DeadLive hosts
- Paranormal equipment and traditional experiments
- Structured vigils in different areas
- Time for your own investigation
- No actors or staged scares
Paranormal activity can never be guaranteed. Our role is to provide a safe, organised environment in which guests can investigate the building and form their own conclusions.
