Why investigate Forest Hills?
The modern hotel stands on the long-established Mersey View site. Its history includes Victorian pleasure grounds, a roller-skating rink used as a First World War auxiliary military hospital, post-war dancing and live entertainment. The Beatles performed at the Mersey View Ballroom on 20 April 1963.
Reported experiences shared with DeadLive include moving shadows, a man in dark clothing, a woman apparently asking for help and the unexplained sound of children. These are reports to investigate rather than promises of activity.
Guests will take part in small-group sessions, quiet vigils, traditional experiments and opportunities to use paranormal investigation equipment. Nothing is staged and no particular experience can be guaranteed.
