Liverpool Ghost Hunts in August 2026

What’s On: DeadLive Ghost Hunts in August 2026

August brings two very different Liverpool paranormal investigations from DeadLive, with events taking place at the Historic Coffee House Wavertree and the Old Police Station on Lark Lane.

Both investigations take place on Saturday nights and include several hours of guided paranormal experiments using a mixture of traditional methods and modern ghost-hunting equipment.

Places are limited, so anyone planning to join us during August should book early.

Coffee House Wavertree Ghost Hunt

Our first investigation of the month takes place at the Historic Coffee House Wavertree on Saturday 8 August 2026.

The event runs from 8:30pm until 2am, with tickets priced at £25 per person. Only ten guest places are available, creating a small-group investigation where everyone has the opportunity to use the equipment and take part in the experiments.

The Grade II listed Coffee House has welcomed customers and visitors for more than two centuries. Originally licensed in 1777, the building takes on a very different atmosphere once the public areas fall quiet and the investigation begins.

Guests may take part in:

  • Spirit-box communication experiments
  • EVP and audio recording
  • EMF meter and REM pod sessions
  • Table tipping
  • Dowsing experiments
  • Traditional vigils
  • Small-group communication sessions

Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be available during the night.

The investigation takes place on the upper floor of the building, accessed by two flights of stairs. The event may therefore be unsuitable for guests with significant mobility difficulties.

Date: Saturday 8 August 2026
Time: 8:30pm–2am
Tickets: £25
Venue: The Historic Coffee House, 14 Church Road North, Wavertree, Liverpool, L15 9EF

Old Police Station Lark Lane Ghost Hunt

On Saturday 22 August 2026, DeadLive returns to the Old Police Station on Lark Lane for another late-night Liverpool ghost hunt.

The investigation runs from 9pm until 2am, with tickets priced at just £15 per person.

The Old Police Station is one of DeadLive’s established Liverpool investigation venues. Once the building becomes quiet, guests will explore its rooms in small groups while taking part in guided paranormal experiments.

Activities may include:

  • Dowsing rods
  • Table tipping
  • EVP recording
  • Spirit communication experiments
  • Quiet vigils
  • Environmental monitoring
  • Small-group investigation sessions

No previous ghost-hunting experience is required. The DeadLive team will explain the equipment and guide guests through the investigation.

This is not a staged scare attraction. We do not use actors, fake ghosts or manufactured paranormal activity. Guests are encouraged to examine anything unusual carefully and decide for themselves what may have caused it.

Date: Saturday 22 August 2026
Time: 9pm–2am
Tickets: £15
Venue: Lark Lane Old Police Station, 80 Lark Lane, Liverpool, L17 8UU
